5 Special Function Buttons
The six function buttons on the SDM622 (the ‘F1 button through to ‘F6 see Figure
1) can be assigned a different function using the FPP, depending on whether a short,
long or double-press is applied.
The table below describes the function-button function re-assignments available for
the SDM622:
Button Function Description
Auxiliary Output
Toggle
Toggle the state of the Auxiliary Output GPIO pin (found on the
DB15 Interface).
Call
Places a call to the default contact or to the current dialstring (if
supported T3 only).
Call Divert Menu Displays the Call Divert menu.
Call Log Clear Removes all entries from the Call Log.
Call Log List
Display
Displays the Call Log
Call Log or Call
Applicable only to "Tier III" systems; this function will bring up the
Call Log menu if the menu is configured in the menu system, and
if no dialstring is entered in the home screen. Otherwise, if a dial
string is entered, this function will dial that entered dial string. If the
call log menu is not enabled, then the default contact will be called.
Channel Down Switch the radio to the next lowest Channel within the current Zone.
Channel Menu Display the list of channels available in the current Zone.
Channel Up
Switch the radio to the next highest Channel within the current
Zone.
Clear Clear the current display or end call.
Contact Menu Display the Contact List assigned to the current Zone/Channel.
DMR All Call Makes an All Call - to all radios on the current channel.
Emergency
Make the radio start an Emergency Call” to the "Emergency
Contact".
External Alert
Toggle
Toggle the state of the External Alert” GPIO pin (found on the DB15
Tech. Interface).
Go To Channel A
Automatically navigate the radio to a specific Zone/Channel as set
up in the USER INTERFACE\Options\Go to Zone/Channel section of
the FPP.
Go To Channel B See Go To Channel A”.
Go To Channel C See Go To Channel A”.
Go To Channel D See Go To Channel A”.
Go To Contact A
Automatically navigate the radio to the contact with the attribute
‘Goto A’ as configured in the CONTACTS page. This function is
Zone/Channel/Contact List specific.
