Button Function Description
Go To Contact B
Automatically navigate the radio to the contact with the attribute
‘Goto B’ as configured in the CONTACTS page. This function is
Zone/Channel/Contact List specific.
Go To Contact C
Automatically navigate the radio to the contact with the attribute
‘Goto C’ as configured in the CONTACTS page. This function is
Zone/Channel/Contact List specific.
Go To Contact D
Automatically navigate the radio to the contact with the attribute
‘Goto D’ as configured in the CONTACTS page. This function is
Zone/Channel/Contact List specific.
Lock Keys
Allocates a button press function to allow the console buttons to be
unlocked when the lock timer senses the radio has not been used
for the set period.
Low Power
Transmit Toggle
Toggles the amount of RF output power emitted by the radio whilst
transmitting between “Low” (configured in
GLOBAL\General\Transmit Power Levels) and the configured normal
operating power for that specific channel (CHANNELS menu).
Menu Displays the top level “Main Menu”.
Monitor Toggle
Switches the radio in/out of “Monitor” mode where the
programmed muting rules for the current channel are ignored so
the radio can listen to all non-protected conversations. Private,
encrypted, or closed calls cannot be heard.
Mute Menu
Displays a menu that allows the user to override the Channel's
default audio muting settings.
Scan Toggle
Allows the radio user to start or stop scanning the Channels in the
Scan Group that is associated with the current Channel entry. The
Scan Toggle function cannot be used to stop Auto Scanning if it has
been enabled.
Scan Skip
If the Skip function is pressed when stopped on a Scan Channel then
the Channel will be removed from the Scan Group, and scanning
restarted. All the skipped Channels will be restored when:
n The user changes to another channel in the zone by pressing
the Channel Up or Channel Down button.
n The Skip timer period expires.
Note: If all the Channels in the Scan Group are skipped, then the last
Channel cannot be skipped.
Selcall Functions
A/B/C/D/E
Activates the relevant Selcall plan created in the SELCALL\Triggers
page in the FPP.
Speaker Mute
Toggle
If the speaker is muted, turn it back on. If not, mute the radios
speaker.
