Verifying ESXi Shell and SSH are Enabled
ESXi Shell and SSH are enabled by default.
Before You Begin
• You have configured IPMI and launched the Virtual Console.
• You have logged in to VMware ESXi.
To verify that ESXi Shell and SSH are enabled:
1. Select Troubleshooting Options in the ESXi System Customization screen.
2. Verify that both ESXi Shell and SSH are enabled.

Configuring the Management Network Adapters
You select the 1 GbE network adapters to use for the Management network. This procedure is specific ESXi

To configure the management network adapters:
1. Select Configure Management Network in the System Customization screen.
2. Select Network Adapters to display the Network Adapters configuration screen.
