The different types of Remote Controls that can be connected to AP45, have
different way of operation, depending on the system configuration.
The F200-40 hand held remote control makes it possible
to remotely control the AP45 autopilot.
The following control functions are obtainable:
• Display that shows vessel heading or set course like
the course display on the control unit.
• Course selection by a rotating knob
• Course adjustments by push buttons
• Mode selection
• Manual steering by course selector knob (Follow-Up)
• Manual steering by push buttons (Non-Follow-Up)
Option (selected during installation or sea trial):
• Dodging by means of course selector knob and
automatic return to previous set course.
