Voumay needto adjustthe Flexi-stitch Balance
selector when using a flexi-stitch paltern in
order
to
achieve
the
correct
paltern
appearance.
Before vou move the stitch balance dial from
its neutral position, make a test sample using
two layers of scrap fabrico If adjustment is
required stitchslowlyand move the selector as
yousew.
• Move selector to the right to separate
sfitchesof paltern.
• Move selector to the left to bring stitchesof
the palterntogether.
Pattern

Inaddition to straightstitchand zig-zagstltch,
your machine can produce a variety of stitch
palterns. Thereare two typesof stitchpalterns
built intoyourmachine:
• Decorativestitch paHernsare produced
by side-to-side movement of the needle.
• Flexi stitch paHerns are producedby
both the side-to-side movementof the
needle,
and
the back-and-forth movement
ofthefeed.
Two

One is already in the machine
and
