3.9 Notes on the type plate
The type plate indicates the type designation, order code and other key details of the device. The type plate is
located in the alarm box of the flowmeter unit. The markings on the type plate vary depending on whether the
SF meter is equipped with an alarm unit.
To make sure no information is lost if the type plate
becomes illegible, enter the details in this manual.

3.9.1 Notes on the CE marking
With regard to the use of the CE marking, the following Directives, which are required for the use
of the CE marking, have been applied:
2014/30/EU - Electromagnetic compatibility
2011/65/EU - Directive on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and elec-
tronic equipment
2006/42/EC - Machinery Directive
3.9.2 Note on UKCA marking
The UKCA label confirms that the product meets the requirements of UK regulations.
3.9.3 Notes on the EAC marking
The EAC conformity mark confirms that the product meets the requirements of the regulations
applicable in the territory of the Eurasian Customs Union.
3.9.4 Note on the RoHS mark in China
The RoHS label used in China confirms that the substances contained in the product and which are
subject to specific regulations, do not pose a risk to humans or the environment during the product's
specified period of use (number within a circle).
