7.3 Technical specifications BSS-12030
7.3.1 General
The alarm system consists of a flow alarm sensor and a joint control unit to which 1 ... 10 alarm sensors can
be connected. The alarm sensor is essentially an inductive proximity switch that detects the position of the
metal float in the flow tube. The control unit contains the connections and power supply for ten alarm sensors.
The control unit provides alarm information for each flow tube separately. The alarm information is a voltage-
free relay contact.
Figure 21. shows the components of the BSS-12030 separate alarm. The dimensions are shown in Figures 3,
4 and 5.
