High Leak.
(CPAP mode)
High leak alarm triggers when the
delivered pressure has dropped by
1mbar for set pressures below 5
and 2mbar for set pressures of 5
and more. This condition must be
active for at least 10 seconds
before the alarm is sounded.
Possibly the circuit or patient
interface has become
disconnected.
Non-latching HIGH priority alarm.
Cannot be disabled.
Priority: HIGH
Type: TECHNICAL
Check Patient, check
patient circuit.
Exhaust Impeded
(Flow mode)
Exhaust alarm is generated when
delivered pressures goes above
the captured pressure by more
than 2mbar and remain active for
10 seconds.
Non-latching HIGH priority alarm.
Cannot be disabled.
Priority: HIGH
Type: TECHNICAL
Check patient circuit.
Set alarm threshold.
If alarm does not clear
remove patient to an
alternative form of
ventilation. Remove the unit
from service.
Exhaust Impeded
(CPAP mode)
Exhaust alarm is generated if the
flow remains below the minimum
flow at the set pressure for at least
10seconds.
Non-latching HIGH priority alarm.
Cannot be disabled.
Priority: HIGH
Type: TECHNICAL
Check patient circuit.
If alarm does not clear
remove patient to an
alternative form of
ventilation. Remove the unit
from service.
