7 Grid User Setup, Registration and Login
The Grid is MSA Safety’s device cloud solution for IIoT. Integration with the Grid enables a secure
remote connection to field devices through a FieldServer and hosts local applications for device
configuration, management, as well as maintenance. For more information about the Grid, refer to
the MSA Grid Start-up Guide.
7.1 Choose Whether to Integrate the Grid
When first logging onto the ProtoCessor, the Web App will open on the Grid FieldServer Manager page.
NOTE: If a warning message appears instead, go to Section 10.7 to resolve the connection issue.
