FUEL FILTER BLEEDING PROCEDURE 5.12.10
This operation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
• Loosen the vent screw.
• Release the bayonet closure of the fuel delivery pump by pressing and turning clockwise
simultaneously. The pump piston is now pushed out by the spring.
• Pump until no more air comes out from the vent screw.
• Tighten the vent screw securely (torque 6.5 ± 1.3 Nm)
• Block the bayonet closure of the fuel delivery pump by pressing and turning clockwise
simultaneously.
• Start up the engine for about 5 minutes or at a reduced load. Verify the seal of the pre-filter.
