FLOATING BOOM FUNCTION (OPTIONAL) 3.8
The machine can be fitted with the floating boom function (optional). The function in question is used to
fully remove hydraulic oil from the lifting cylinder and therefore “release” the telescopic boom. This way
the boom is free from constraints and can freely follow the outland of the terrain (for instance, if fitted with
a snow shovel). The function can be activated via the relative button on the second side dashboard on the
right-hand side. The function must be activated only when the boom is fully lowered down and retracted.
Attention! Once activated, the boom falls due to the effect of gravity as it does not have
any hydraulic retaining device. For safety reasons, the function cannot be activated with
the boom lifted up by more than approx. 2 metres. In any case, we recommend you
activated the function when the boom is lifted up to prevent hazardous situations and/or
damage to the accessories installed on the telescopic boom or the boom itself.
It is possible to lift the boom to prevent any obstacle from coming in contact with the boom during the work
cycle, even if the floating function is activated. The function will be automatically reactivated only if the
boom is not lifted up by more than 2 metres. For the purposes of safety, it is best to lift the boom just
enough to avoid the obstacle.
BOOM SUSPENSION FUNCTION (OPTIONAL) 3.9
The machine can be fitted with the boom suspension function (optional). The function in question is used
to dampen the movements of the boom, both with and without a load. The function can be activated via
the relative button on the second side dashboard on the right-hand side.
Attention! The suspension function cannot be activated if the floating boom function is
already active.
