Time & Date
Select Tools > Control panel > Device > Time
& date
to set the current time and date. You can
also choose the date and time format. Select
the required field and enter the settings.
Time & date menu options
Set updates – when you travel across time
zones, your phone can receive information
from the mobile network and
automatically set the clock to display the
local time.
Set workdays – specify your workdays
and the first day of the week.
User Greeting
Select Tools > Control panel > Device > User
greeting
to choose whether you want a user
greeting displayed every time you turn your
phone on. The maximum number of characters
is 32.
Wallpaper
Select Tools > Control panel > Device >
Wallpaper
to set a background image for the
Standby view. Select
Replace, then browse to
the image you want to use. Use the slider to
adjust the image's size.
Wallpaper menu options
Remove picture – removes the
background image.
Picture from theme – select an image
from a theme.
Tile – mark the check box to fill the screen
with additional copies of the chosen
image.
Messaging Settings
Area Information
Area information messages are text messages
broadcast to all subscribers in a mobile
network area, for example, weather reports
and information from your service provider.
This service depends on your service provider.
Using the settings described below, you can
subscribe to and activate different information
channels.
Select
Tools > Control panel > Messaging >
Area information
, then enter the settings.
