6.4 Switching the unit off
To switch the unit off, perform one of the following steps:
1. Briefly press the button (I/O) under the unit.
or
2. Press the "OFF" icon on the display of the ePC (selection via the menu).
The ePC indicates that one of the two buttons has been pressed and it will
switch the unit off after a brief delay. The ePC will enter the rest mode.
Even in the off state (and without the handle/battery), the ePC can be
activated from the rest mode.
This is the case
when you actuate the button in the corners of the ePC.
Always switch the unit off if you do not use it for a longer period of time (and the
end of the day or before the weekend).
6.5 Offline mode
After a predefined time the unit goes into the standby mode. This means that the
X-ray tube, detector cooling, and the illumination of the display are switched off.
After a brief activation of the "Start measurement" button or the enable button the
cooling of the detector is reactivated. The tube is again booted with the start of the
next measurement.
