7.3 Adapter for small parts
The adapter for small parts can be used as an attachment for the cover plate.
In order install the adapter for small parts, proceed as follows:
1. Switch off the instrument.
2. Insert a new protective film (see page 50).
3. Press the lip of the protective sleeve at the bottom of the measurement plate
down so that the guide groove of the cover plate can be seen.
4. Push the adapter for small parts with the guide rail under the cover plate.
5. You can now release the lip of the protective sleeve. It will enclose the
adapter for small parts.
6. If necessary, fasten the outer protective film to the cover plate.
7. Switch the unit on again, see page 40.
The adapter for small parts can now be used. (Item no. 41118103)
If the cover plate is used as a pressure-sensitive sample sensor, the fastening
screw (46501354) must be removed beforehand and a thread screw must be
installed instead.

Only use cuvettes with a diameter o
f 32 mm (Item number 76060806). Before
using the cuvette, remove the over lapping protective foil from the edge of the
cuvette. This will allow its free movement and permits easy replacement.
