4. Description
The joystick VCS0 is a robust joystick suitable for medium-duty applications.
The drive block, made of a tracking-resistant, heat and cold-resistant insulating material, acts as the car-
rier for all mechanical parts and also provides protection against touching electrically conductive parts.
An optional zero, horn or deadman's contact is integrated space-savingly into the drive block so it is
protected. Touch-proof double contact elements for maximum 250 V and 10 A engage with a shaped t
and are further secured to the drive block.
Due to the special design, the replacement of the double contact elements and the cam disks is straight-
forward.
Various gate modules are available for mechanically limiting or guiding the direction of movement.
Standard and special circuits can be implemented by means of the use of up to four double contact
elements per axis.
Potentiometers and encoders can be attached with a shaped t by means of the use of a simple plug-in
coupling or directly instead of a double contact element.
Along with numerous applications in the bespoke equipment sector, the joystick VCS0 is used in cranes,
control stands and in portable control consoles due to its low weight.
