8.3.2. When Not Using the Spring Base
When not using the spring base, (when arranging the apparatus in a vertical layout), it is necessary to fasten the
friction spring to the frame on the user side. Fig. 8.3.2.A. to Fig. 8.3.2.D. show the recommended layout of the
mounting hole of the optional large diameter roll paper holder (RHU-T500) and the friction spring layout. See the
drawing to fasten the friction spring.
Notes:
1. Two M3 screws are recommended for fastening the friction spring.
