6.14 Installing the Rewind Starter
N Remove the starter cover (9) with the rope guide (5)
and the starter mechanism (11 - 24).
N Insert and tighten down the screws (7).
N Insert and tighten down the screw (6).
6.15 Removing the Stop Buffers
N Preparations, @ 3.1.
N Remove the rewind starter, @ 6.2.
N Use punch-down tool 5910 890 4000 to pry the stop
buffers out of the starter cover (9).
6.16 Installing the Stop Buffers
N Coat cones of stop buffers (8) with press fluid.
N Press the stop buffers (8) into the openings in the
starter cover (9).
N Install the rewind starter, @ 6.14.
