17.6 Removing the Inner Blower Housing
N Remove blower wheel (3), @ 17.5.
N Remove the rewind starter, @ 6.2.
N Remove the air filter, @ 7.2.
N Remove the shroud, @ 7.4.
N Remove filter housing and carburetor, @ 8.2.
N Remove the airflow shroud, @ 14.2.
N Take out the screws (4).
N Remove inner blower housing (6).
N If necessary: Remove the antivibration element, @
11.2.
17.7 Installing the Inner Blower Housing
N Install the antivibration element, @ 11.3.
N Place the inner blower housing (6) on the powerhead
(8).
N Insert and tighten down the screws (4) firmly.
N Install the airflow shroud, @ 14.3.
N Install the filter housing and carburetor, @ 8.3.
N Install the shroud, @ 7.5.
N Install the air filter, @ 7.3.
N Install the rewind starter, @ 6.14.
N Install the blower wheel (3), @ 17.8.
17.8 Installing the Blower Wheel
N Push the blower wheel (3) onto the drive shaft.
N Use 18 mm socket to fit and tighten down the hex nut
(2).
N Remove the locking screw 4282 890 2700 from the
spark plug hole.
N Install the spark plug.
N Install outer blower housing (1), @ 17.9.

N Install the antivibration element, @ 11.3.
N Fit the O-ring (11) in the groove in the elbow (12).
N Position the elbow (12) against the inner blower
housing (6).
N Place the outer blower housing (1) in position.
N Insert and tighten down the screws (7).
N Screw home the screws (10) as far as stop.
N Tighten down the screws (10) to 1.5 Nm.
N Then turn screws (10) back one full turn.
N Install the backplate, @ 10.12.
N Fit the pleated hose together with the blower tube.
N Install the control handle, @ 15.3.
