N Push the impulse hose (16) onto connector on the
carburetor (7) as far as stop.
N Push the fuel hose (12) from the fuel pump (5) onto
elbow connector on carburetor (7) as far as bend.
N Push the fuel intake hose (14) from the fuel tank as far
as stop onto intake connector on carburetor (7).
N Push the fuel hose (13) onto connector on fuel
pump (5).
N Press fuel intake hose (14) into guides (arrows) in
filter housing (9).
N Press fuel hose (13) into guides (arrows) in filter
housing (9).
N Position the throttle cable (11) behind fuel hoses (13
and 14) in area next to fuel tank.
N Connect throttle cable (11) to carburetor (7).
N Press throttle cable (11) into guides (arrows) in filter
housing (9).
The following tightening sequence of screws (1) and (2)
must be observed to make sure the baffle (10) is properly
sealed after installation and the carburetor (7) is correctly
fitted:
If the baffle (10) has been removed:
N Insert the screw (1) but do not tighten it down yet.
In all cases:
N Tighten down the screw (2a) to 0.5 Nm.
N Tighten down the screw (2b) to 6 Nm.
N Tighten down the screw (2a) to 6 Nm.
If the baffle (10) has been removed:
N Tighten down the screw (1) to 4 Nm.
In all cases:
N Insert and tighten down the screws (3) firmly.
N Fit cable lug (18) of yellow wire.
N Insert and tighten down the screw (4).
N Press the wiring harness (15) into the guides
(arrows).
N Position hose profile (19) in the guides (arrows) so
that the insulating tube butts against it.
N Install the shroud, @ 7.5.
N Install the rewind starter, @ 6.14.
N Fit the filter cover, @ 7.3.
8.4 Removing the Fuel Pump
N Preparations, @ 3.1.
N Remove filter housing and carburetor, @ 8.2.
N Pull off the fuel hose (12) to the carburetor (7).
N Unlock retaining lugs of fuel pump (5) and remove the
fuel pump (5).
