Securing the load support
Securing the load support
DANGER
Risk of accident
Before carrying out any work on the hydraulic
system, it must be depressurised by lowering the
load support to the ground.
Before anyone may proceed under the raised cab, a
mechanical safety device must be installed, such as
a suitably strong brace around the mast traverses
or a jack.
Removing the hood
To gain access to the control compartment,
the hood must be removed.
– Remove the two plastic screws. Turning
anti-clockwise loosens the screws.
– Lift the hood up and out of the latch. Place it
to the side. The hood is very light. It can be
removed manually without any aids.
Proceed in the reverse sequence to fit the
hood. Place the hood carefully in its guide and
latch and tighten the plastic screws until they
are hand-tight only.
Fuses in general
NOTE
If a fuse has to be exchanged, de-energize the
system by pulling out the battery plug. Only
exchange identical fuse sizes and fuse types.
