Parental Lock Programmes with a Parental Guidance Rating can be blocked from viewing
and opened only with a Password. To setup this feature, enter your password
rst. Then select an age, above which the channel must be protected. Options
are: O, Age 7 to 18. Default is Age 18.
Menu Lock If Menu Lock is set to On, crucial menu items are locked behind the password.
Channel Lock If Channel Lock is set to O, the lock function set in the TV or Radio Channel
List is overruled.
New PIN-code To set another password (PIN) than the previous one, enter a new 4-digit
password rst and conrm it, by entering it again at Conrm PIN-Code. Make a
note of it.
LCN Logical Channel Numbering. This setting, On or O, is according to the
Country or Region you have selected. The broadcaster can send a signal to x
a program on a certain channel number.
7.3 Installation
Auto Search This menu allows you to search for channels from all available frequencies
for your selected region automatically. Be aware that all previous installed
channels and favourite list(s) will be deleted. The new-found channels will be
installed in the channel list and afterwards you can create a new favourite list
if you like. Press OK to start the scan.
Manual Search Select a particular channel to do a search on just one (known) frequency.
Select Start Search and press OK to start the scan. The signal quality bar might
be useful to check if the frequency is indeed in use or for pointing an antenna.
Antenna Power Set to On if you use an active antenna. When set to On, 5 V will be present at
the ANT IN connector of the receiver. Select O for passive antennas.
FTA FTA Free to Air, Select between Yes which will only install Free-to-Air channels
or No which will install all found channels, even if they are scrambled. Then
select Auto Search or Manual Search to start scanning.
7.4 Language
This menu allows you to set up your language preferences.
Language: Use tu to select the language for the On Screen Display (OSD).
First Audio: Use tu to select the audio language you like to hear as rst priority, if
available.
Second Audio: Use tu to select a language that will be played when the language selected
at First Audio isn’t available.
Subtitle Language: Use tu to select the preferred subtitle language.
Teletext Language Changes the character set according to the country selected.
Subtitle Type Select the type of Subtitle, which you would prefer to see on each channel
automatically. Options are: O, {Hard of Hearing and Normal.
