IMPORTANT
Use a ½" cement board to finish the hearth opening after the fireplace installation.
Other non-combustible materials may be used. The framing and the wall finishing
around the hot air grille boxes are required to be in non-combustible materials. It is
mandatory to affix 4" of cement board around the hot air grille.
