.10 BAFFLES AND VERMICULITES

Step 73 Insert the pointy end of the bafﬂe

support into the notch located on the inside

of the ﬁreplace near the door. The small lip

must be torwards the inside of the ﬁreplace.

Step 74 The other extremity of the bafﬂe

support should rest on the top of the highest

refactory brick located in the back of the

combustion chamber.

Step 75 Repeat the previous steps to install

the support on the other side.

Step 76 Place the crosspiece over the

supports and insert the two hooks of the

crosspiece into the notches in the bafﬂe

supports.

Step 77 Slide the vermiculites onto the ﬂat

edge of the crosspiece and on top of the

back refractory bricks.

Step 78 Place all vermiculites. If there are

three vermiculites, ﬁnish with the centre one.
