.11 FINISHING WITHOUT FRONT PANEL
Step 85 Cut the ½" cement board to the
right size as indicated in the DIMENSIONS
section (Hearth opening) according to the
fireplace model and fix it to the trims of
the insulated shell (green sections on the
diagram) or to the wall structure.
Step 86 Cut and install the cement board
contours around the hot air output boxes
and secure it to the metal framing.
Step 87 Install the drywall board to cover
the wall and secure it to the framing.
Step 88 Clip the grilles into the grille box
already in place.
Step 89 Place finishing angle bars (not
included) around the opening of your
finished wall to obtain straight angles.
Step 90 Protect the glass and fireplace
paint, then proceed to drywall finishing and
desired wall finish using non-combustible
materials.
NOTE
In order to prevent cracks, it is recom-
mended to use a single piece of ce-
ment board instead of multiple pieces.
