.1 UNPACKING

Step 7 Insert the Stûv handles on the

sides of the insulated shell to manipulate

the insulated shell.

Step 8 Once the handles are in place,

remove the insulated shell backwards by

lifting it up slightly.

Step 5 Unscrew the M5 screws from the

ﬁxing and ﬁnishing crossbars using a Torx

25 bit. Set aside the ﬁxing and ﬁnishing

crossbars .

Step 6 Carefully remove the pieces of

insulation wool off the top of the ﬁreplace.

Then remove the wool support plate.

Watch out for the assembly hooks.

NOTE

Never lift the ﬁreplace AND the

insulated shell at the same time with

or without the Stûv handles.

NOTE

We suggest not removing the side

crossbars for the DF models, this

helps maintain the rigidity of the

casing when it is removed.

NOTE

The door is locked in half-closed

position. To avoid any problem, do

not unlock the door at this point.
