If the content of the IDPROM section is invalid, OpenBoot PROM displays a
warning message and the system does not auto-boot the Solaris platform.
However, you can boot the system from the ok prompt using the boot command.
It is therefore essential that you store the system configuration card safely if you
have to remove it from the server, and replace the card before restarting the system.

diag-passes 1 Defines the number of times self-test
method(s) are performed.
asr-policy normal Defines the policy to be implemented by
the asr-package.
local-mac-address? true If true, network drivers use their own
MAC address, not that of the server.
fcode-debug? false If true, includes name fields for plug-in
device FCodes.
ttyb-rts-dtr-off false If true, operating system does not assert
ttyb, RTS, and DTR.
ttyb-ignore-cd true If true, operating system ignores carrier-
detect on ttyb.
ttya-rts-dtr-off false If true, operating system does not assert
ttya and RTS and DTR.
ttya-ignore-cd true If true, operating system ignores carrier-
detect on ttya.
silent-mode? false Suppresses all messages if true and if
diag-switch? is false.
scsi-initiator-id 7 SCSI-ID of the SCSI controller.
oem-logo none Contains custom logo for banner, enabled
by oem-logo?
oem-logo? false If true, uses custom OEM logo, otherwise,
uses Sun logo.
oem-banner NA Contains custom banner text, enabled by
oem-banner?
oem-banner? false If true, uses custom OEM banner.
ansi-terminal? true If true, uses ANSI terminal.
screen-#columns 80 Sets number of columns on screen.
