Removing and Replacing Rotating
Service Module Components
Caution – The procedures in this section are for qualified service engineers only.
Caution – Before carrying out any of the procedures in this chapter, read “Avoiding
Electrostatic Discharge” on page 32 and wear a properly grounded antistatic strap.
Caution – Printed circuit boards and hard drives contain electronic components
that are extremely sensitive to static electricity. Ordinary amounts of static from your
clothes or the work environment can destroy components. Do
not touch the
components or any metal parts without taking proper antistatic precautions.
Note – Illustrations may contain optional components that are not available on all
standard configurations of the Netra 240 server.
