a. Pull up on the handle for the PCI card support and slide the support clear of

the PCI card (

b. Unseat the PCI card from the connector and lift it out of the server (FIGURE 5-7).

Installing a PCI Card

1. Prepare the server for servicing, if you have not done so already:

a. Power off the server.

See “Powering Off the Server” on page 22.

b. Remove the server cover.

See “Removing the Server Cover” on page 27.

c. Open the rotating service module.

See “Opening the Rotating Service Module” on page 30.
