2.2 SAFETY AND WARNING ADHESIVE SIGNS
The machine has been equipped with all the necessary safety
devices required to safeguard the operators.
However, residual risks may exist which are identifi ed on the
machine with self adhesive signs (decals)
that briefl y, but clearly, warn about any unsafe and danger
situation.
Figure 4 shows the position of these decals on the machine.
Keep these signs clean and replace them immediately whe-
never they come off or get damaged.
Contact SCAIP for spare decals if those on the machine are
damaged or have come off. Whenever you replace damaged
or missing safety signs, place the new ones exactly in the
same position.
Decal 1 (yellow background)
Warning sign: remarks prior to machine start-up Incorrect
machine operation may cause serious or even fatal injuries.
This is why before starting the machine, the operator must
read the instruction manual carefully. He must understand and
comply with the instructions and warning remarks provided in
the manual. The manual must be stored in the cabin near the
operator’s seat. If the manual gets lost, contact SCAIP for a
replacement copy.
Decal 2 (yellow background)
Warning sign: remarks for machine operation
During machine operation or when the machine is traveling,
pay great attention that there is no-one near the work area
and especially at the back of the machine. Start the machine
movements exclusively when you have full visibility of the work
area and after asking unauthorized personnel (or animals) to
leave the area.
Decal 3 (white background)
Indication of lifting points on the machine.
This decal shows the anchoring points on the machine for
transportation or towing purposes.

Decal 5 (yellow background)
SERIOUS DANGER sign
Pay attention to potential contact with overhead electrical ca-
bles during machine movements. There is a risk of electrocu-
tion, which may have a fatal effect, if cables are contacted.
