Supermicro C7Z97-OCE Motherboard User’s Manual
Memory Support
The C7Z97-OCE supports up to 32GB of Unbuffered (UDIMM) DDR3
Non-ECC 1066~3300MHz(OC) XMP* in 4 memory slots. Populating these
DIMM modules with a pair of memory modules of the same type and
same size will result in interleaved memory, which will improve memory
performance. Please refer to the table below:
Memory Population Guidelines
Please follow the table below when populating the C7Z97-OCE.

Notes
Be sure to use memory modules of the same type, same speed,
same frequency on the same motherboard. Mixing of memory
modules of different types and speeds is not allowed.
Due to memory allocation to system devices, the amount of
memory that remains available for operational use will be re-

*The C7Z97-OCE supports memory modules having a frequency of
more than 2133MHz (Extreme Memory Prole or XMP Memory). How-
ever, XMP memory is not within the JEDEC memory standard. Compat-
ibility and stability of these memory modules depend on varying factors,
including the processor's capabilities and other devices installed.
