• Remove the O-ring 1.

Use a new O-ring to prevent fuel leakage.
• Remove the float 2, float pin 3 and needle valve 4.
• Remove the following parts.
5 Valve seat
6 Main jet
7 Needle jet
8 Pilot jet
9 Starter (enricher) jet
0 Pilot screw
NOTE:
Before removing the pilot screw

, its setting must be determined.
Slowly turn the pilot screw clockwise and count the number of
turns until it is lightly seated. Make a note of how many turns
were made.
When reassembling the pilot screw, you will want to set it to its
original position.

Do not use a wire to clean the passages, valve seat and
jets.
• Remove the starter (enricher) plunger assembly A.
