13.10 Modifying the PFC Control Card
A modified PFC control card is an essential part of the test equipment set-up
(shown in Figure 13.11 on page 243) which enables the AC converter to
run on DC voltage. The modifications described below will bypass the
minimum operating voltage lock-out.
1. Connect a 4k7 resistor between pin 9 and pin 10 of IC102.
2. Connect a 2k2 resistor between pin 10 and pin 11 of IC102.
