to the signal. VSS-6.1 is the first professional reverb to
acknowledgetheadvantagesof6.1roomsimulationto
coverwideaudienceslikeinacinema,ormakethemost
out of SACD 6.0 reproduction.
Theimprovementsover5.1mustbeheardtobebelieved,
somakesuretoenable6.1modewhenaseparate
Surround channel is available. The 6.1 mode is compatible
withDolbyEX,DTSESandSACD6.0.
VSS-6.1 Reverb Introduction
Reverb is added to the five or six main-channels (L,Center,
R,SL,SR,SC).TheLFE-channelispassedthroughtime
aligned but un-processed. The algorithm can be used at
sampleratesbetween44.1and96kHz.
Inputa5.1or6.1mixorstem,chooseaLocationtype
and Output format. If you want to position single-sources
intothe“VSS-6.1-Reverb”ordynamicallymovesources
aroundinthesurround-field,useeithertheSpacePan-5.1
algorithm or a surround panner that may already exist
within your mixing console.
High-qualityEarlyReflectionpatternsandfiveun-correlated
Reverbs are integrated in this algorithm. The extensive
EarlyReflectionpatternscanbeenabledtoenhance
localization and widen the sweet spot.
NoReverbisaddedtotheLFE
channel.TheLFEchannelistimealignedaccording
to processing Delay.
