Do not exceed the indicated power ratings when connecting to

“SWITCHED” outlet
Power is controlled by the power switch.
“UNSWITCHED” outlet
Power is always available, regardless of power switch.
TAPE, EQ switch
Make sure this is switched to TAPE.
Concerning the cooling fan
The cooling fan operates oniy at high output power levels.

The included AC power supply cord is for use with this unit only. Do
not use it with other equipment.
Connect this cord after

Conserving power
The receiver consumes 1 W even when it is turned off with [POWER, (3/1).
The casstte deck consumes 2.8 W even when it is turned off with [POWER, STANDBY
()/0N).
The CD changer consumes 3.6 W even when it is turned off with [POWER, STANDBY
b/ON].
To save power when the unit is not to be used for a long time, unplug it from the
household AC outlet.
If the receiver is left unplugged for longer than a few weeks, all setting will revert to the
factory settings. Do the settings again if this occurs.
