c. Set the Termination to 1MΩ.
d. Repeat steps 5 through 15.
17. Repeat the procedure for all remaining channels as follows:
a. Push the front-panel button to deselect the channel that you have already
tested.
b. Push the front-panel button to select the next channel to be tested.
c. Move th
e calibrator connection to the channel input to be tested.

Check Random Noise, Sample Acquisition Mode
This test checks random noise at 50 Ω and1MΩ for each channel. You do not

d to connect any test e quipment to the oscilloscope for this test.
1. Disconnect everything from the oscilloscope inputs.
2. Push the front-panel Default S etup button.
3. Turn Gating off as follows:
a. Push the front-panel Wave Inspector Measure button.
b. In the Measurement Setup window, click the More button and then select
Gating.
c. Ensure that Off (Full Record) is selected.
4. Select the RMS measurement as follows:
a. Push the front-panel Wave Inspector Measure button.
b. In the Measurement Setup window, select the RMS measurement.
c. Ensure that the channel beingtestedisselectedintheChannels box.
