Annual Maintenance Procedures
60 Scissor Lifts Part No. 1305686GT
3 Lower the platform onto the safety arm.
Crushing hazard. Keep hands
clear of the safety arm when
lowering the platform.
4 At the ground controls, turn the key switch to
the off position and push in the red
Emergency Stop button to the off position.
Pressure Transducer
5 Working at the barrel end of the lift cylinder,
follow the pressure transducer cable down the
scissor stack to its end point, at the chassis
deck.
6 Using a multimeter, insert the negative test
lead into terminal 2 of the pressure transducer
cable rubber boot.
1 terminal 4
2 terminal 2
7 Insert the positive test lead into terminal 4 of
the pressure transducer cable rubber boot.
8 Turn the key switch to ground controls and
pull out the ground controls red Emergency
Stop button to the on position.
9 Using the multimeter, measure the voltage
reading of the pressure transducer.
Result: The voltage reading of the pressure
transducer is between 4 mA and 20 mA. The
pressure transducer is functioning properly.
Result: The voltage reading of the pressure
transducer is not within specifications. The
pressure transducer is not functioning
properly. Replace the pressure transducer.

Service and Repair Manual for your machine,
How to Remove the Pressure Transducer.
10 Insert the positive test lead into terminal 3 of
the pressure transducer cable rubber boot.
Result: The voltage reading of the pressure
transducer is between 20 mA and 4 mA. The
pressure transducer is functioning properly.
Result: The voltage reading of the pressure
transducer is not within specifications. The
pressure transducer is not functioning
properly. Replace the pressure transducer.

2 terminal 2
11 At the ground controls, turn the key switch to
the off position and push in the red
Emergency Stop button to the off position.
12 Remove the test leads.
