24 Remove the bearing housing (fig. C2316).
25 Remove the brake springs from the brake piston. (fig.
C2317) There are inner and outer springs.
26 Remove the piston from the housing by pushing
through from the output shaft side. (fig. C2318)
27 Remove the brake disc assemblies. Note the positions
of the steel and fibre plates. (fig. C2319). Check the
plates for wear and replace as required.
