PM5020 Dual-Channel Benchtop Power and Energy Meter Chapter 4 Operating Instructions
4.11.1.3.1.1 Dual or Single Channel
The Dual or Single Channel measurement screen displays the main measurement parameter of two or one
sensor, respectively.
Each channels header bar contains information about sensor type and temperature, actual measurement
range and specific warnings and information.
The numerical value is supported by a simple bar graph below, which shows the utilization of the full-scale
measuring range. The activated channel can be identified by the blue or green indicators to the right. The
Side Menu refers to the activated channel and is described below.
Four Quick Set buttons below the bar graph give the following options:
· Change the wavelength of measured light
· Perform a relative Measurement
· Perform Zeroing to set and subtract background
· Attenuation: Apply additional optical filter correction.
Please make sure to configure the settings for this measurement in the comprehensive Settings Menu
prior to performing a measurement.
Inside the measurement screen, the Side Menu can be used to directly access the most frequently used
settings with simultaneously monitoring the measurement. The Side Menu refers to the selected channel.
Switch channels by using the below described ways.
The icons shown here next to the screen are the options provided by the Side Menu.
