3.4 Log Clamp and Side Support Installation
1. Assemble the log clamp. To do this, dismount the mounting bracket on one side of the log clamp
rod, insert the log clamp arm onto the rod and reinstall the mounting bracket. Attach the complete
log clamp in the middle of the bed using the bolts included in the log clamp kit. The log clamp
mounting bracket and the side support bracket mounted on the same cross rail are bolted with the
same bolts.
See Figure 3-8.
2. Install the side supports and their brackets. Do not tighten until the bed is leveled.
