4.10 Saw Head Adjustment
1. Check that the tensioned blade is parallel to a bed rail. To do this, measure the distance between the
blade and the bed rail on both sides of the saw head. If the two measurements are not the same,
adjust the saw head in relation to the bed on one or both sides, as necessary.
2. To adjust the saw head, move the threaded rod (on which the lift cable is installed) up or down.
To move the saw head up, loosen the lower jam nut and tighten the upper nut. For the user’s safety,
the lift cable bracket with the cable locking screw must be tightened all the way. After adjustment,
the lift cable locking screw should be in the same position as before.
NOTE: When adjusting the saw head, be careful not to loosen the
upper nut completely as it can cause the saw head to lower.
