3.8 Clutch Lever Installation (Gas Sawmills)

1. Install the clutch lever to the sawmill mast frame using the fasteners shown below.

See Figure 3-12.

2. Bolt the clutch cable to the lever.

See Figure 3-13.

3. Install the other end of the clutch cable at the clutch as shown below. Using the adjustment bolts

A and B, adjust the clutch cable so that it engages the clutch (that causes the V-belt to tension and

engages the blade) when you pull the clutch lever toward you.
