•Unscrew the nut on the back of the push button to remove the
push button from the calculator door.
•Fit the new button and secure into position by tightening the
button nut on the back of the nozzle panel.
•Gently push and clip the preset switch back onto the button.
4) TO REPLACE A PRESET SWITCH:-
•Using a flathead screwdriver, disconnect the preset button cable
wires from the connectors on the preset switch.
Note : take care to note the wiring of coloured wires from
the cable to the preset switch.
•Using a small flathead screwdriver, unclip the preset switch
from the back of the push button.
•Gently push and clip the new preset switch onto the back of
the push button.
•Connect the cable wires to the new preset switch.
5) TO REPLACE A PRESET CABLE:-
•Using a flathead screwdriver, disconnect the relevant preset
cable from the connectors on the preset switch.
Note : take care to note the wiring of the cable wires to the
preset switch.
•Trace the cable to the connector block situated on the base of
the calculator head using wirecutters to remove any cable ties
as required.
•Using a small flathead screwdriver, disconnect and remove the preset cable from the
connector block.
Note : take care to note the position of the cable wires in the connector block.
•Fit the new preset cable by connecting one end to the connector block and the opposite
end to the preset switch.
6) Replace any cable ties that have been removed.
7) Ensuring all cables are safely inside the calculator head, close the calculator door and
lock.
8) Ensure all tools and unused materials are removed.
9) Re-instate power to the dispenser.
10) Test the operation of the new button/switch or cable.
11) Dispose of all waste accordingly.
