4.12 Changing the Spin on Filter (Option)
1) Within the hydraulics section, locate the spin on
filter housing and ensure all valves are in the
closed position. (Horizontal)
2) Unscrew the filter, remove it from the holder and
store it in a safe place.
WARNING : BEWARE OF FUEL SPILLAGE.
3) Remove the replacement filter from its
packaging and apply a film of oil around the
gasket. Recommended filter Wix 24027.
4) Carefully place the filter in the housing and begin
to tighten by hand until the gasket has made
contact. Apply another 3/4 of a turn.
Note : Do not over tighten the filter.
5) When the filter is firmly in place, turn the ball
valve to the open position. (Vertical)
The procedure is now complete.
Note : Ensure that the line is subsequently
bled to release any air in the system.
