4.11 Changing the SM80 Meter
Before starting the maintenance procedure, please refer to section 2.
Identify the relevant side of the dispenser with the meter to be replaced (see section 2.2
for the identification of the dispenser sides).
Tools required
•Replacement meter excluding pulser (refer to the Parts Manual for exact part identification)
•Replacement Weights & Measurements seals
•10mm and 13mm spanners
•3mm allen key
•Flat head & cross head screwdriver
•Wire cutters
Description of Parts
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Follow the instructions given in section 2.4 to gain access to the hydraulic area.
2) Where fitted, use a flat head screwdriver to loosen and remove
the five screws on the type plate bracket.
3) Use a cross head screwdriver to loosen and remove the six
screws and washers on the hydraulic top plate.
