Z Clear – This is the Z locaon the tool moves or retracts to at the start and end of a hole, as well as
moving between holes, so it must clear any obstrucons along the path between holes.
6.7.5 Thread Mill Tab
The thread milling roune produces helical tool paths needed for milling straight external or internal
right-handed threads based on pitch, diameter, and length (see Figures 6.28 and 6.29).
