Remove ball bearing from the case. Ball bearing
roller balls must be free of deformation and scoring.
Ball bea
ring must spin freely and have minimum ax-
ial play
. Replace ball bearing as necessary
.

Replace governor shaft if cracked, bent, or ex-
cessively worn.

Replace governor fork or stopper if bent or de-
formed.
