3.Checkthenozzlestrainersandin-linestrainersfor
accumulationofdirtandchemicalsludge.

CAUTION
Excessivedebrisaroundengine-airintakeand
exhaustsystemareacancauseengine,exhaust
area,andhydraulicsystemtooverheatwhichcan
createarehazard.
Cleanalldebrisfromengineandexhaustsystem
area.

2.Cleanalldebrisfromscreennexttothestartergripof
theengine,aroundengineshrouding,fueltank,and
exhaustsystemarea.
3.Wipeupanyexcessivegreaseoroilaroundtheengine
andexhaustsystemarea.
4.Cleanmufer-heatshieldsofalldebris,dirt,andoil.
RemovingtheEngineShroud
andCleaningtheCoolingFins
ServiceInterval:Every80hours
1.Stoptheengine,settheparkingbrake,removethekey,
andwaitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
2.Removecoolingshroudfromengine.
3.Cleancoolingnsoftheengine.
Note:Alsocleandust,dirt,andoilfromexternal
surfacesofenginewhichcancauseimpropercooling.
4.Installthecoolingshroudsontotheengine.
Note:Operatingtheenginewithoutcoolingshrouds
willcauseenginedamageduetooverheating.
