1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
Important:Thefueltanksareconnected,
butthefueldoesnottransferquicklyfrom
onetanktotheother.Itisimportantwhen
llingthatyouparkonalevelsurface.Ifyou
parkonahill,youmayinadvertentlyoverll
thetanks.
2.Shuttheengineoffandsettheparkingbrake.
3.Cleanaroundeachfueltankcapandremove
thecap.
Important:Donotopenthefueltankswhen
parkedonahill.Thefuelcouldspillout.
4.Addfueltobothfueltanks,untiltheleveliseven
withthebottomofthellerneck(Figure11).Do
notoverllthefueltanks.

CheckingtheHydraulic
System
Beforeyoustarttheengineandusethemachine,
checkthehydraulicsystem;refertoCheckingthe
HydraulicSystem(page67).
Usingthe
Rollover-ProtectionSystem
(ROPS)
WARNING
Toavoidinjuryordeathfromrollover:keep
therollbarintheraisedlockedpositionand
usetheseatbelt.
Ensurethattherearpartoftheseatissecured
withtheseatlatch.

Thereisnorolloverprotectionwhentheroll
barisinthedownposition.
Lowertherollbaronlywhenabsolutely
necessary.
Donotweartheseatbeltwhentherollbar
isinthedownposition.
Driveslowlyandcarefully.
Raisetherollbarassoonasclearance
permits.
Checkcarefullyforoverheadclearances
(i.e.branches,doorways,electricalwires)
beforedrivingunderanyobjectsanddo
notcontactthem.
