AdjustingtheHeight-of-Cut
Youcanadjusttheheight-of-cutfrom2.5to15.8cm
(1to6inches)in6mm(1/4inch)incrementsby
relocatingthestoppinintodifferentholelocations.
1.Withtheenginerunning,pushthedeck-lift
switchupuntilthemowerdeckisfullyraisedand
releasetheswitchimmediately(Figure19).
2.Toadjusttheheight-of-cut,rotatethestoppin
untiltherollpininitlinesupwiththeslotsinthe
holesintheheight-of-cutbracketandremove
it(Figure43).
3.Selectaholeintheheight-of-cutbracket
correspondingtoyourdesiredheight-of-cut,
insertthepin,androtateitdowntolockitin
place(Figure43).
Note:Thereare4rowsofholepositions(Figure
43).Thetoprowgivesyoutheheight-of-cut
listedabovethepin.Thesecondrowdowngives
youtheheightlistedplus6mm(1/4inch).The
thirdrowdowngivesyoutheheightlistedplus
12mm(1/2inch).Thebottomrowgivesyouthe
heightlistedplus18mm(3/4inch).Forthe15.8
cm(6inch)position,thereisonly1hole,located
inthesecondrow.Thisdoesnotadd6mm(1/4
inch)tothe15.8cm(6inch)position.

1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKEDposition,andset
theparkingbrake.
2.MovethethrottlelevertotheSLOWposition,
stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitfor
allmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
