Important:Thefastenersonthecoversofthis
machinearedesignedtoremainonthecover
afterremoval.Loosenallofthefastenerson
eachcoverafewturnssothatthecoverisloose
butstillattached,thengobackandloosenthem
untilthecovercomesfree.Thispreventsyou
fromaccidentallystrippingtheboltsfreeofthe
retainers.
Lubrication
GreasingtheBearingsand
Bushings
ServiceInterval:Every50hours
Themachinehasgreasettingsthatmustbe
lubricatedregularlywithNo.2general-purpose,
lithiumgrease.Ifthemachineisoperatedunder
normalconditions,lubricateallbearingsand
bushingsafterevery50hoursofoperation.Lubricate
thebearingsandbushingsdailywhenoperating
conditionsareextremelydustyanddirty.Dustyand
dirtyoperatingconditionscouldcausedirttogetinto
thebearingsandbushings,resultinginaccelerated
wear.Lubricatethegreasettingsimmediatelyafter
everywashing,regardlessofintervalspecied.
1.Wipethegreasettingscleansothatforeign
mattercannotbeforcedintothebearingor
bushing.
2.Pumpgreaseintothettings.
3.Wipeoffexcessgrease.
